Janet Warren Johnson died February 27, 2014, at home with her husband, Ron, and family by her side. Born March 20, 1958 in Walnut Creek, California, she resided there until she moved to Yucaipa with her family in 1973. At the age of 16 she moved out on her own while working at Del Taco. In 1978 Janet married Ron; they lived at a Christian camp in the local mountains, and in 1979 purchased their first home in Calimesa where they lived until moving to San Bernardino in 2002. After having her sons, Janet became a stay at home mom. Once her sons were older she began her career working at Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, First Baptist Church of Yucaipa, Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa ROP and finishing as an Administrative Coordinator for San Bernardino Valley College. She attended Community Bible Church where her husband serves as Senior Pastor. She enjoyed reading, motorcycle trips with her husband and boys, travelling, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Janet is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald Johnson; son, Rocky and his fianc Angie Hickam, of Rancho Cucamonga; son, Scott and daughter-in-law Jeanny, of Trinity, FL; four grandsons, Andrew, Joshua, Jax three granddaughters, Ashley, Natalie, & Zaidee, and one grandchild on the way; her sister, Colleen Kreins; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Warren, Howard Warren, & Phyllis Warren; mother-in-law, Marion Johnson; and nephew T.J. Ramler. Janet will be remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt and friend of great strength, courage, passion, love, support and devotion. She was important to those who she met and will be greatly missed. The memorial service will be held at Community Bible Church on Saturday, March 8 at 10:00am.
