Janice Eileen Crim

Janice Eileen Crim passed away 7/28/16 from cancer. She was born in Redlands on 7/30/36, and was a lifelong resident of Redlands and Mentone. She is preceded in death by her older brother Lee McEwen. She graduated from Redlands High School in 1954, and married Robert Crim. She helped Robert take care of Crim's Grove Care, and they raised three sons: Robert (Bernie), Ronald (Shirley), and Steve (Marlena). Between taking care of her family and co-owning the grove, Jan also worked at Redlands Community Hospital, retiring after 33 years. After her husband, Robert, died in 2001, Jan married Francis Parent in 2005, who has predeceased her. They blended their families together. Bowling was a favorite pastime of Jan's, and she was also a member of the Yucaipa Elks Club. Jan loved doting on her 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as her dogs, Tucker and Smedley, who were her two other "children". Viewing is from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California 92373. Her service will be Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10am, also at Emmerson Bartlett. Interment will immediately follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands, California 92373.
