Jaycob Alexander Harris

Jaycob Alexander Harris was granted his angel wings on June 30, 2013, following a lifelong illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jaycob had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Jaycob's big smile could melt the hearts of those around him, even through his pain. Although Jaycob's illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. He could spend hours sitting on his grandpa's lap. He loved playing with his brother, sister and cousin. His favorite thing to play with was his golf clubs. He loved to dance and listen to music and enjoyed doing workout videos with mom and dad. His favorite food was bread. Jaycob was a "Super" little brother and cousin. With Jaycob's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his smile. He will forever remain in our hearts. Jaycob is survived by his loving parents, David and Jaclyn Harris of Redlands, CA; sister, Jaylene Lopez; brother, Jayson Lopez; brother, David Harris; cousin, Jennifer Lopez; maternal grandparents, Edward and Genevieve Lopez; paternal grandparents, Albert and Tina Harris; great-grandparents, Gilbert Abitia and Pauline Coronedo; aunt, Jennifer Lopez; great-aunt, Paula M. Abitia; great-great aunt, Becky Abitia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation hour will be held Wednesday, Juy 10, 2013, from 9:00 to 10:00am and a Funeral Service at 10:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA. Burial will follow service at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands, CA.
