Jean Rose Troise

Jean Rose Troise passed away peacefully on September 30, 2012 in Redlands, CA. Jean was born on March 23, 1920 in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania; she was the daughter of Pasquale and Giovanna Mazzoli. Jean graduated from Tarentum High School in 1938 and attended Beauty School in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Louis Troise on May 21, 1941. They moved to San Bernardino, CA in 1946 where they made their home and many lifelong friends. They had three children, Louis, Jeanne and Joanne. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother and loyal friend. Her charm, wonderful sense of humor and boundless energy attracted many friends. Jean loved to dance and took every opportunity to do so. Up until the last few months of her life, she rarely missed a dance at the AARP Senior Center. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral for 62 years and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a volunteer for the American Heart Association. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, her parents and siblings. She is survived by and will be missed by her son Louis and wife, Susanne, two daughters, Jeanne and husband, Glenn, and Joanne and husband Michael. She leaves her three grandchildren, Matthew Booth, Kelly Booth and Harrison Lyles. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, especially Sandine Hamilton. Memorial services will be held on Thursday October 4, 2012, 11:30 a.m. at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373.
