Jeremy David Mccready

April 14, 1989 — January 13, 2015

Our beloved son, Jeremy David McCready passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 13, 2015, at the age of 25. Jeremy was blessed to be surrounded by his dearest loved ones on this tragic and unexpected night when he passed. He went to sleep early that night and simply did not awake. The family will receive friends in a celebration of Jeremy's life at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Jeremy was born on April 14, 1989 at St. Bernardine's Hospital to Robert and Deborah McCready. The second born of two sons, he will mostly be remembered for how he cared for his family and many friends, including those he barely knew. From childhood, there wasn't much Jeremy wouldn't do for a family member or friend, no matter the need. People have always commented on what a positive influence Jeremy had on them. Jeremy was raised in Highland and Redlands where he played Little League Baseball in Highland and Redlands and basketball at the Highland YMCA with his older brother, Jeff, who preceded him in death on June 21, 2012. As a youth, Jeremy felt most free on his YZ 80 dirt bike and won many races in his class divisions. He continued to excel in motorcycle racing until an injury forced his mother to say, "No more" at the age of 14. Jeremy attended REV, Aquinas, Orangewood, and Redlands High Schools, conspicuously graduating from RHS in 2007. His mother will never forget the call from her friend who worked in the RHS counseling office stating, "Jeremy made it!" Jeremy worked as the Sales Manager for our family company, US Family Advocates, Inc. His outgoing personality transferred into meaningful client relationships and he was always willing to share his personal story if he felt it would motivate them. His stepfather, Steve, was most proud watching Jeremy mature by turning problems into opportunities and becoming a professional family law expert. But, first and foremost Jeremy was son to Robert and Deborah, Jeff's brother, Ethan's father, Christian's stepfather, Steve's stepson, Nicole's fiancée' , a brother in Christ ,after recently being baptized, and an integral component of the McCready/Sauer Legacy. Jeremy, may the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace. Jeremy, may God rest your soul! Our beloved is survived by his mother and stepfather, Deborah and Steve Moonly; a gifted and beautiful son, Ethan; a remarkable and insightful stepson, Christian; his stepsister and brother-in-law (Crescent and Robert Crater of Atlanta, Georgia); his fiancée', Nicole Gill, whom he constantly referred to as his "queen" and "love of his life"; and her boys, Joseph and Daniel. Thank you, Jackie, for loving Jeremy and gifting him with Ethan and Christian whom we are completely obsessed and in love with; they are who we live for. All of us, including his extended McCready/Sauer family and friends, are devastated at our loss and will miss his wise words of "strength and honor." Not a day will go by where we won't think of you, love. We'll see you on the other side, Jeremy! Deborah's dear friend, Melanie Chant has graciously opened her home to the friends and family of the McCready/Moonly/Sauer family and close friends for a pot luck luncheon after the service. 34756 Maplewood Lane Yucaipa, California 92399 (909) 560-2550
