John Donald Anderson

John Donald Anderson, age 61, passed away on September 3, 2014 in San Bernardino, CA. He was born on June 28, 1953 in Illinois. John worked at the Loma Linda University for 20 years as an accountant. He earned his bachelor s of science and accounting degree from Walla Walla University in Washington State. He loved his Yucaipa community and was very active in the Yucaipa High School Alumni Association, where he developed many friendships. He was an avid reader and enjoyed walking around town and got good exercise from it. John enjoyed the outdoors. John is survived by his daughters, Heather M. Avilla and Erica Para of Portland, Oregon; 6 grandchildren; brother, Robert Anderson of Illinois; several cousins and his beloved aunt and uncle, Pete & Ruby Anderson. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 4:00pm at the Yucaipa Seventh-day Adventist Church, 35225 Avenue E, Yucaipa, CA
