Jose Vince Calles

Jose Vince Calles of Yucaipa passed away December 28 2015, surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 17, 1940. He grew up in East Los Angeles. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1963 with the 51st Infantry while he was stationed in Europe. He married in 1964, moved to Yucaipa in 1976 where he raised his family.  He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was an accomplished marksman, avid outdoorsman, enjoyed wood work. Jose is survived by his wife Evelyn, daughter Christine sons Vince, Joel and eight grandchildren. Memorial  service will be Tuesday January 19, 2016, at Emmerson-Bartlett in Yucaipa followed by a Memorial Honor Detail at Riverside National Cemetery for his service in the military
