Joseph Lee Rosano

June 9, 1947 — April 11, 2014

Joseph Lee Rosano, born June 9, 1947 in Middletown, Connecticut. He was the second son of five boys born to Sebastian Rosano and Helen Mae Merrill Rosano.
Some of his hobbies included going to the beach, having picnics and snows sledding while living in Connecticut.
The family moved to California settling in Boron in 1955 where Joe attended elementary through high school graduating in 1965.
Teenage hobbies included working on cars which lead to his career as an Auto Repair and Gas Station owner.
He began in the service station business in Boron, California in 1967 and landed in Barstow in 1987 with a Shell Station.
Joe enjoyed the desert, walking with his dogs and photographing a lot of the plants and scenery.
He also enjoyed going to church, reading the bible, old time gospel music, and helping people and organizations.
Joe is survived by his brothers, Emanuel (Seb) Rosano of Uvalde, Texas, Robert (Bob) Rosano of Carlsbad, California, James (Jim) Rosano of Highland, California, and Paul Rosano of Boron, California, as well as 3 sister-in-laws, 4 nephews, 4 nieces, and his dog, Josh.
Joe went to be with the Lord Friday, April 11, 2014.
Joe was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
A service to celebrate Joe's life will be held on Friday, April 18th, 2014 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, California.
