Joy Ann Moran, passed away July 30, 2021 at the age of 70 at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Joy was born July 10, 1951 to William and Nancy Fisher at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, California.
She lived in Redlands, California for over 40 years, just recently moving to Highland, California in 2019.
She was an instructional assistant with the San Bernardino City Unified School District for many years and had worked for a short time as a psychiatric technician. The majority of her life she was devoted to raising her children.
Joy graduated from Bellarmine – Jefferson High School in Burbank in 1969.
She met Danny Allan Moran in 1969 on a blind date and married him December 27, 1969. She was a loving mother of 3 children, James (Jim) Allan Moran, Jeffrey (Jeff) William Moran, and Carrie Joy Moran (Loveland), and grandmother to 9 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents William George Fisher and Nancy Jane Fisher, her brothers Larry Fisher and Pat Fisher, and by her granddaughter Caitlin Rose Loveland.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, her children, and her 8 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor September 11, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373-5101. This will be followed by a reception at Anderson Hall, located within the Valencia Lea Mobile Home Park, 3850 Atlantic Avenue, Highland, California, 92346.
