Our Mommy Went to Heaven Juanita W. Ward at the age of 88 Years, Died on November 18th, 2012. Residing in Yucaipa, Ca. After suffering with Alzheimer s for close to 10 years..... She was born on June 18th, 1924 in Lycon, Colorado. After High school, She went on to college in Texas where she graduated from Southwestern Bible Institute. She gave her heart to the Lord at 12 years of age and He was First in her Life....She was married on February 11th, 1945 To the Love of her Life, Robert S. Ward. They were married for 55 years. They had four Children: Gary Ward, LaVonna Barbieri (Ward), Roger Ward & Dianna Borghi (Ward). Our Mommy was so amazing I have to tell you about her!! She was the first Woman Allstate agent, she broke into a mans world and they were not to happy about it!! But She did such an awesome job, they all soon came to Love her, and even chose her to do several of the Allstate TV Commercials which she was happy to do. She retired from Allstate in 1986. Her dream was to serve Jesus and her Family Full Time. It was at this time she applied and Received Her Ministerial License at Dawnyelle (Her granddaughter s) request, for her Grandma to perform Her wedding...Which She did, and Continued to do so for several others....She loved it with a passion and was so Honored....Where their was a NEED that s where my Mommy Was...She served at Oak Valley Church with Pastor Tom Villalobos. My Mom was the Center of our Family. Her Love as she said Exceeds the Boundaries of the English language . She has taught us not by words but example! She gave her Love unconditionally and Was a Woman after Gods Own Heart...She is survived by Two Sisters and a Brother: Delores Wynkoop, Bonnie Miller and Leon Owens. Her Four Children and their spouses, 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren!! You will be missed every minute of everyday Mommy, until we all meet again.... We Love You. Services will be held at: Oak Valley Church 9580 Calimesa Blvd., Calimesa, CA 92320 Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 at 1:30pm Reception to follow. Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa, CA.
