Julian Rodriguez, Jr.

Julian Rodriguez Jr., age 75, resident of Yucaipa, CA passed away in Loma Linda, CA on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Born September 7, 1939 to parents Julian and Lucille Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Herminia Rodriguez, son Julian Rodriguez III, daughter Julie Rodriguez, son Lee Rodriguez, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and brothers David, Victor, Emmett, and Robert Rodriguez.
After graduating from Redlands High School in 1958, Julian joined the U.S. Navy and retired honorably in 1978 earning a rank of Yeoman First Class. Following his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Julian followed his entrepreneurial spirit and eventually opened a carpet cleaning franchise which serviced the Inland Empire for over 20 years. During this time he became passionate about soccer which eventually led him to opening a retail soccer store in Yucaipa and Redlands. He was a survivor of cancer and eventually retired to his residence in Yucaipa.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on November 19, 2014 at the Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA. Interment with military honors will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands, CA.
