Karl Delacruz Linares was born to Ross and Maxine Linares on May 7th, 1958 in the city of Fontana, CA. He was the youngest of five children. Karl was raised by both his parents and grew up in San Bernardino. Later in his teen years, his family moved to Highland where he lived until Karl married.
Three words best describe Karl loving, funny, and a firecracker. As a young child he enjoyed playing Army with his friends. Karl was a true American patriot. He was always proud of his family members who served in the military. His father and uncle served in WWII, and his brother Bobby served in the Vietnam War. During his teenage years, Karl became interested in playing the bass and fell in love with playing music. His favorite genre of music was Rock. Karl played football and participated in track and field at San Bernardino High School. Karl had the type of personality where he was not afraid to step out of his comfort zone. This was evident when he began his acting career. Karl acted for a few years, landing roles in several movies and commercials. He practiced martial arts and earned his 2nd degree black belt in Kung-Fu.
In the summer of 1977, Karl met the love of his life, Stefani Agcaoili. The two married in April of 1979. Karl and Stefani had their first child Naiomie in October of 1978. The couple began raising their family in the city of San Bernardino. They later had two sons, Vincent and Steven. Karl and Stefani enjoyed spending time with their family and friends on the weekends with activities such as barbecuing and listening to music. They enjoyed going to the movie theater as a family. Every summer they would take their kids camping and a trip to Disneyland. As a family, they attended church on Sundays, where Karl was very active with the praise and worship team. As his family began to grow, Karl took on his most treasured role of grandpa (Papa). Karl loved his 4 grandchildren with all his heart.
Karl was an aircraft mechanic. He loved being a contractor and traveling, meeting new crews of people to work with. In 2004, Karl went overseas to Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in Iraq he worked on aircraft such Blackhawk, and Chinook helicopters. During the time period of 2007 to 2012, Karl has been employed with many crucial government missions. He was a very skilled, talented, and qualified aircraft mechanic.
