Kathleen Mary Rehm

Kathleen Mary Rehm (Ward), 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, with family by her side. Kathleen was born in Blackpool, England, on October 20, 1932.
At the age of 19 years old, Kathleen relocated to London and worked as an usherette at a London theatre. At 21 years old, she saved her money to sail to Montreal, Canada and worked as a secretary at an insurance company.
Kathleen married Daniel James Rehm at 23 years old at Loring Air Force Base, Maine. She was married to her beloved husband for 63 years. Kathleen was a devoted wife and mother to her six children. She also took great pride in her role as a member of the Officers’ Wives’ Club. Kathleen enjoyed dining out with her family, shopping with her daughters, and many family celebrations. Her hobbies included cooking, walking, and trying her luck at a slot machine!
Kathleen and Daniel resided in Redlands for the past 38 years upon his retirement from the United States Air Force. Colonel Daniel J. Rehm, Retired, passed away in 2019.
Kathleen is survived by her six children, Carol, Kathy Mehegan, Linda, Daniel & his wife Ann, Donald and Lorraine, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws Carol and Eileen Rehm of Oriskany Falls, New York and her loving caregiver, Jeri Fernquist.
Funeral services will be held on January 18, at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands at 4:00 P.M. Interment will be held on January 19 at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
