Lanisha Renee Latrice Morris

Today we come to celebrate the compassionate, loving, journey of Lanisha Morris truly a gift from God. Born on March 27th, 1991 to her mother Sheila Leach (Grant), and father Reginald Morris. Also known by Teeta to family and Lala to friends, Lanisha leaves behind (but not too far behind) her stepfather Christopher Leach and stepmother Natalie Blackstone. A flew of siblings Aja, Mark, Darnisha, Luwanda Titus, Nyh’Azia, Demetrius, Shakira, Tanika, Kenya, Jason, and Damion, her niece's Faith Hollis Skylar Scott, and countless other nieces and nephews she gathered over her years, a host of aunties, uncles, and cousins (let’s not ever forget the greatest godmom ever Peach!)

Lanisha grew up in Redlands Ca. making countless homeboys homegirls besties and friends of the family her love grew like wildfire. Lala graduated from Orangewood High School in the late 2000s; then came across her pizza-making career path at Little Caesars Pizza in Redlands K-mart starting as a cashier and in a few short years becoming manager assistant (unofficial) which boosted her decision to be her own boss and start her own pizza company (Faith’s Pizza) she then relocated to another branch in Hesperia where she became an official Assistant Manager! Also making her first move away from home as an adult to become a resident of Hesperia Ca. As an independent woman, she was sustained to be she obtained a second job at Taco Bell where she quickly moved up the ladder to become General Manager her bosses and employees loved her infectious smile, very friendly demeanor, and great customer service spark. Lanisha loves people (she will never stop spilling her joy across hearts everywhere even from above) truly and unconditionally. Lanisha’s huge heart, warm hugs, and infectious giggle will come across our memories just think of the good times with her and believe she is right with you in every moment pushing you through. Lanisha met the love of her life Tony Talvor in high school, they reunited years later and became engaged, and expanded her family with another mother, sisters, brothers, and son. Lanisha was (her spirit still is) truly happy to have Tony as a fiancee and life partner. In 2022 (thrilled with life)

Lanisha begin classes to obtain her BA in Business Management after she moved with her family to Needles Ca. so she can start her pizza company. During this time she gained skills in wifely duties, spending time with her stepson, and future talk of children of her own. Lanisha loved everything about her life and where she was headed in her future. Most importantly she was and will forever be the greatest representation gods pure love.
