Lee William Farmer, Sr.

March 31, 1941 — September 6, 2014

On September 6th, 2014 Lee William Farmer Sr., passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side. Lee was born March 31st, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lee graduated in 1958 from Valley High School, Abq., NM. He was preceded in death by his parents Josephina and Ben, as well as his older brother James. He leaves behind a loving wife Dianne, three children Lee Farmer of Gardena, Pamela Farmer-Soeder of Vista, and Vicki Lyon-Graves of Redlands as well as 9 grandchildren, (2 more due in January), 4 great-grandchildren, and his siblings Helen Del Frate, Linda Melendez, Joyce Freydryk, all of Abq. NM., and Roy Farmer of Parker, AZ. Lee owned Village Auto Service in Mentone for 49 years, finally closing his doors for retirement 5 years ago. In his spare time he worked in his garden, collected/made/sold jewelry, enjoyed travel, barbequing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held for Lee on Saturday, September 20th, 11:00am, at The Emerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, in Redlands, CA.
