Lennie William Alvarez

Lennie William Alvarez went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 15, 2021. Lennie was born on August 25, 1959, in Redlands, California. Lennie grew up in Lancaster, California. During his life, he lived in many places: Hesperia California, and Bristol, Rhode Island, to name a few. Lennie joined the Navy for four years from August 1977 to August 1981. He was employed by So. Cal Edison for many years.
Lennie was a very loving, caring, and generous man who cared a great deal for others, especially those in need. He loved his children and his family very much. He also adored his nieces and nephews and all of their children! Lennie was a very social person and loved talking, texting, and FaceTiming his friends and loved ones daily. This is something that will be missed so very much by so very many!
Lennie was preceded in death by his parents, Raul T. Alvarez and Vera G. Alvarez. He is survived by his children: Lennie Alvarez (Summer) of Mesa, AZ; Maria Alvarez of Mesa, AZ; and Daniel Sarinana of Portland, OR; five brothers and sisters, Frank Lopez (Sherry) of Redlands, CA; Sally Reynolds (Norman) of Temecula, CA; Raul Alvarez (Gloria) of Huntington Beach, CA; Alice Pasqual of Bristol, RI; and Jackie Tomasik of Lakewood, CO; nine grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA. Interment will be immediately after at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA.
