Lois Ruth Whitaker was born September 20, 1926 to Charles and Ruth Freese in Lander, Wyoming.
Raised on a Sheep and Cattle Ranch in her early childhood, until moving to Alpine, CA where she started first grade.
The family moved back to Wyoming in 1933 until the second half of Lois Ruths 8th grade when the family moved back to California.
Lois attended Lynnwood Academy from 1940-1944. In 1944 Lois began the Nursing Program at La Sierra.
Lois met Bob Whitaker in 1947 and they were married June 30, 1949; they had four children: Charles, Steven, Richard and Cheri.
Lois loved to sew and was an amazing seamstress, in her later years she knitted and crochet beautifully.
Through-out her life she participated in Pathfinders and up until her passing she was the oldest living pathfinder.
Lois loved the lord and was an ardent Seventh Day Adventist, her dearest held wish was for all of her family to love the lord.
Lois is survived by her children Charles, Steven, Richard and Cheri,
Daughters in law Denice and Natalie, her 7 grandchildren,
and her 8 great grandchildren, her sister Beverly and her nieces Char, Tamara, and Barbara.
