Lois Roberta Taylor Bohlman died in Redlands, CA on August 22nd. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was graduated from the University of Delaware and shortly after graduation, married Philip Bohlman, became a homemaker and raised three children. She later earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Redlands in Human Resources. After serving for several years as Director of a residential recovery program, she then went to work San Bernardino County as a Staff Analyst from which she retired after an additional 11 years. She was an instructor in the Evening Program at San Bernardino Valley College for five years. Lois was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Redlands, serving as an Elder and as a Deacon. She was a member of Presbyterian Women and a member of American Association of University Women for several years. She was a member of Plymouth Associates and served as a volunteer counselor at both Joslyn and Redlands Community Senior Centers. Until recently she served as a volunteer at the Bookstore of the A.K. Smiley Public Library in Redlands.
She is survived by three children, Leslie Ogan of Redlands, Mark Bohlman of Pasadena, MD, and Ross Bohlman of Corona, CA, as well as a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois was 90 years of age.
Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Redlands on Friday September 15th at 1:00 PM.
