Lorenza G. Garcia

Lorenza G. Garcia was born on August 10, 1910 in Zacatecas, Mexico and passed away at the age of 101 on October 25, 2011 at Redlands Healthcare Center. Lorenza resided in Redlands for most of her life, was a homemaker and worked at the Goodie Shop Bakery in Redlands for about 15 years before retiring. Lorenza was a loving wife, mother of 4, grandmother to 23, great-grandmother to 55, great-great grandmother to 43 and great-great-great grandmother to 1. Lorenza was preceded in death by her husband Candelario Garcia, son Tony Garcia and daughter Flo Pinto. Surviving children are William (Angie) Garcia of Colton and Teresa (Gilbert) Resendez of La Verne and will be missed by many other family members and friends. Rosary will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 6:30 pm, Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands. Mass will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus (St. Mary s Church) Redlands at 10:30 am with burial following at Hillside Cemetery, Redlands. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church (St. Mary s Catholic Church).
