Louise Amelia Payne

Louise Amelia Payne, age 100, a resident of Yucaipa for 35 years passed away on Oct. 20, 2010 in La Habra, Ca. She was born on Aug. 4, 1910 in Chicago IL, the #1 of 5 children to James and Augusta Dewar. She has outlived all her siblings and her beloved husband Joe, by 20 years. Louise is survived by her son, Thomas J. Payne of Yucaipa, California; daughter, Janet and Dave Craig of Whittier, California; grandchildren, Dan and Sandy Payne of Munster, Indiana; James and Hannah Payne of Yucaipa, California; and Laura and Hunter Cox of Lynchburg, Virginia. Our family has been truly blessed by God to have such an amazing lady in our lives all these years! We loved her deeply and she will be greatly missed!! Arrangements are being made by Emmerson Bartlett in Redlands. Viewing will be on Tuesday evening, Nov. 9, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. The service will be at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the following charities in her memory: Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc./ Samaritans Purse P.
