Louise Carmella Peluso

August 30, 1931 — December 14, 2013

Louise Carmella Peluso was born to Frank Peluso and Mildred Vallo on August 30, 1931 in Chicago Illinois. She was the fourth of five children. She was preceded in death by her older sister Catherine Tufano and older brothers Vito Peluso and Michael Peluso. She is survived by her loving younger sister Marie Affatati and her husband Carl. Louise leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. About forty years ago, Louise came to California to be with her sister Marie and Marie s family. When Louise moved to California, she came with her best friend Connie Donahue and Connie s daughter Cindy and Cindy s son Brian. Louise worked in electronics all her life and was a supervisor at General Dynamics when she retired. Although she never had children, she considered her nieces and nephews her own. She also had a great love for her animals. She loved her dog Rocky so much that his ashes remained on her shelf in a special place next to his picture. She also loved her sister's dog, Lucky, so dearly. Louise was Lucky s surrogate mommy and loved any chance to babysit him. Louise was a spunky, sassy, sensitive soul that touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved so deeply and wore her heart on her sleeve. Louise was also a big flirt and loved to tease. If she didn t call you ugly or hit you, she probably didn t like you. Whenever you traveled, you always had to call her when you arrived home so that she knew you were safe. If you didn t do as she asked, she would say she was going to give you baccala , which is an Italian version of a spanking. Louise and her sister Marie were inseparable; if they were not together in person, they spoke on the phone. Not a day went by that they did not speak to each other. Marie and Louise had a special bond; they were not only sisters, they were best friends. Louise loved Marie s children, grandchildren and great grandson Wyatt as if they were her own. She adored Wyatt and kissed his picture every day! Louise went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2013.
