Lupe Conejo Lara, a longtime Redlands resident entered fully into the presence of his lord and savior on February 5th 2023 at 93 years old. He was surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his sons Edward Lara and his wife Teresa. Larry Lara and his wife Cynthia. His siblings Arcadio (Boy), Manuel, Angie,and Josie. His 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Lupe is preceded in death by his wife Alice Lara (Gonzales) of 59 years, son Danny, his parents Adolfo and Simona, and his siblings Pilar, Connie, Jessie, and Sabas (Joe)
Lupe was born on November 14th, 1929 to Adolfo Lara and Simona Lara (Conejo) in Redlands. Lupe graduated in 1947, he later was married to the love of his life Alice in 1952 and in that same year he enlisted into the Army and served in the Korean war. He served from 1952-1954. He and Alice had three sons
Edward, Larry, and Danny.
Lupe worked at Griffin Wheel as a furnace operator for 27 years. One of Lupe's hobbies included watching westerns and telling loved ones one of his amazing stories from his life. He enjoyed raising his sons, loving and caring for his wife. He enjoyed being a grandfather, uncle and friend.
