Madelieine M. Philbrick Madeleine M. Philbrick, age 84, passed away November 28, 2014 in Yucaipa, California. Madeleine was born February 19, 1930 to Idola and Berthe Dusablon in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was a resident of Yucaipa for 18 years. Madeleine received a degree in business and worked in the accounting profession, retired after 40 years. She worked in the Dairy Industry for several years while living in Long Beach, Ca and moved to Colorado where she lived and worked for over 25 years. While in Colorado, she belonged to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where she earned numerous honors including Sister of the Year and awards for her humanitarian efforts and accomplishments in child abuse programs and child related charities such as the Santa Claus Workshop. She was also instrumental in the success of the HOAs in Buena Vista, Colorado and here in Yucaipa where she served on both Boards. Her hobbies included knitting, reading, traveling and fishing. She was caring, thoughtful and generous and loved by many. She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Richard Philbrick and survived by her sister, Suzanne Peloquin and her husband Louie; Brother Jean Dusablon and his wife Photini; Anne belich and her husband Bob 2 grandchildren, Robert and Joseph Belich. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Yucaipa, Ca. Emmerson Bartlett assisted family with arrangements.
