Margaret Jean (Downey) SAINT
Jean Saint, 91, of Yucaipa, California passed away on September 19, 2016.
Born September 10, 1925 to Ross and Marjorie (McKenzie) Downey, in Govan, Saskatchewan, Canada, Jean was a talented pianist and played piano by ear. At the time she met her husband, Frank Saint (deceased), she was working as a Copy Writer for radio station CKOM in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. They were married for 60 years.
Moving to California in the late 1950’s, they settled in Yucaipa, CA. where Jean became a homemaker and spent decades involved in Yucaipa PTA and the United Methodist Church.
Jean is survived by her daughters Leslie (Jim) McLellan of Lake Arrowhead, CA., and Hilary (Doug) Holdt of La Quinta, CA.; grandsons Ian McLellan of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Alec McLellan of Lake Arrowhead, CA.; sister Isabel Nordine of London, Ontario, Canada and brother Mack Downey of Eugene, Oregon.
