Mary Avila Espinoza a life-time resident of Redlands, CA was invited into Heaven on Friday December 10, 2010. Mary was surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1930, in Lone Pine, CA, Mary moved to Redlands at the age of two. She graduated with Redlands High School Class of 1948. In 1950, Mary, married Edward Mark Espinoza, also a life-time resident of Redlands, where they raised their five daughters and one son. At a young age, Mary was always a high energy person who loved reading, which guided her to her chosen career as a library branch manager, for the city of San Bernardino s public library. One of Mary s passions and love was spending a day at Newport Beach with her daughters, son, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Another passion of hers was the family s annual vacation traveling to Scottsdale, Arizona s, Camelback Inn. Mary is survived by six children; Paula Rae Espinoza, Marissa (Lawrence) Espinoza Maeseele, Edward Espinoza, Carla Espinoza Valadez, Lauren Espinoza Bradshaw, and Darisa (Edward) Espinoza-Vargas. Five adoring grandsons and two step-granddaughters, who all called her Ama; Nicholas and Michael Valadez, David Espinoza, Patrick Bradshaw, Zachary Morton, and Coral and Stacey Vargas. Mary is also survived by three sisters and one brother; Alice Martinez, Helen Avila, Ruth Avila, and Richard Avila. As we celebrate our mother s 80 wonderful years of life, she wanted to leave this message for her loving family and friends, Live your life to its fullest with love, joy, and family. Visitation will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands from 4:30 P.M. 7:00 P.M. with a rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.. Mass will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church 1214 Columbia St. Redlands at 11:00 A.M. Interment following at Hillside Memorial Park.
