MARY ELIZABETH KELSEY Rancho Mirage - Mary Elizabeth Kelsey, a long time resident of Banning, CA died Friday the 17th of July, 2015 at Brentwood Care facility. She was 93 years old. Born March 4, 1922 in Covington, PA, Mary received her Bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State teachers College and taught high school english until 1958 when she moved to California. She moved to Banning in 1960 where she went to work for Riverside County Department of Public Services and continued there until retirement. Mary is survived by two sons Samuel A. and Terrance W. of Cherry Valley; son-in-law Rodger Foster of Banning; four grand daughters, Michelle Depuy of Yucaipa, Terilyn Adrian of Beaumont, Tanya Kelsey of Texas, Marianne Downs of Banning; two grandsons, Johnathon Kelsey of Poppet Flats and Scott Foster of Beaumont; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel W. and daughter Tonya (Toni) Foster. Services will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands , CA at 10 AM on Friday July 24, 2015. Interment will be at San Gorgonio Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. Pastor Michael Sharp of Corning, CA will officiate.
