Mary Frances Walsh

Mary F. Walsh 84, succumbed to her long term illness July 9, 2011, she was born in Buffalo, NY, relocated to Southern California and lived for 63 years. She worked at McDonald Douglas as a secretary, where she met dad, they fell in love, married and spent the rest of their lives together. They raised four daughters, whom they loved dearly. She was a wonderful mom and wife who gave up her career to care for and raise her girls. She returned to work once we were grown and out of school. She retired from The Department of Water and Power. Mom and dad retired to the community of Yucaipa, CA 24 years ago. During this time they traveled and spend time with family. Mary is survived by her daughters Barbara Moore, Donna Gallegos, Erin Walsh, son-in-laws Bob Moore, Ray Gallegos and her three grandsons Sean Brennan, Ryan Brennan and Daniel Gallegos. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eugene Walsh, her daughter Jennifer Walsh, grandson Jason Gallegos and her great granddaughter Jordan Rae Gallegos. Memorial services will be held July 22, 2011, at St. Frances X. Cabrini Catholic Church at 9:00 AM, 12687 California St., Yucaipa, CA 92399. Graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 11:00 AM, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside CA 92518 (951) 653-8417.
