Mary Lou Pino, 81, a long time Redlands resident, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, July 7th, 2014. Mary Lou was born on February 4th, 1933 in Mexicali, Mexico the daughter of the late Alberto and Juana (Martinez) Pino. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and exhibited grace in all aspects of her life. She was well known for her accomplished cooking skills and her love of gardening. She will be remembered fondly for her salsa and beans, potatoes and bacon and ribs. She enjoyed using her cooking skills when she spent time with her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, son Ernie Torres; daughters, Aileen (Dave) Sanders and Lupita (Tony) Wood; and her grandchildren, Antoinette Wood and Zachary Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Juana (Martinez) Pino and her brother Al Pino. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 12th at Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, California. Visitation will held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In accordance with her wishes, Mary's ashes will be released into the Pacific Ocean.
