Born in Greensburg, PA of Luigi and Angelina Cruder and preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Mary and her loving husband, James J. McCann, moved in 1982 from Illinois to California where they shared nearly 65 years of marriage. In Highland, CA, Mary was active with the Red Hat Society and enjoyed gardening. Mary also leaves behind a devoted daughter Mary K. McCann of Yucaipa; CA; her brother-in-law Rev. Father Thomas W. McCann of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; her brother-in-law Joseph Graham of Kent, OH; three generations of Nieces and Nephews, and numerous friends. Mary left this world at St. Bernadines Medical Center due to complications of a massive stroke.
Mary is currently in the gentle care of Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 115 W. Olive Ave, Redlands, CA on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow at The Redlands Elks Lodge #583, 663 New York Street, Redlands, Ca. All are invited to celebrate the life of an amazing and loving woman. Mary’s cremains will be laid to eternal rest at Hillside Memorial Park on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at a private family service.
