Mary Margaret Pat Batchelor

Mary (Pat) Margaret Batchelor died peacefully at home on Monday Oct 28, after a long battle with Breast Cancer. She was born in Duquesne Pa, on March 11,1928 to Margaret and Vincent Snyder. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Braddock Nursing School,Pa in 1947. Pat moved to Upland, California in 1950, where she met her husband Cecil. They were married on Oct 16, 1954, and just before her death they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Together with their family, they moved to Yucaipa in 1960. Pat worked at Redlands Community Hospital for 25 years in the New Born Nursery. She was always excited to meet the many children around town that she welcomed into the world and gave a first bath to.
She is survived by her husband Cecil, four children, Sue Cameron, of Calgary Canada and her husband Ayden Novelli, Jeane Spaid of Yucapia and her husband Matt, Terrie Berlin, of Fontana, and Tim Batchelor, of Yucaipa. Three grandsons, Joshua Spaid of Yucaipa and his wife Adena, Jacob Spaid of San Diego, Jeffrey Spaid of Yucaipa and his wife Cristi. And three great-grandchildren.
An Informal memorial gathering will be held on Saturday Nov 8th, at 11:00 am at Emmerson- Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Yucaiapa. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to help fight against Breast Cancer.
