Mary Valles Flores

Mary V. Flores of Redlands, California, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 18th, 2013 at the age of 72 at Asistencia Villa in Redlands, California. She was born in El Paso, Texas on August 6th, 1941 and moved to California shortly after. She resided in Redlands for the remainder of her life. She graduated from Redlands Senior High School in 1958. She was a preschool teacher, and an elderly caregiver before she retired, and enjoyed the time she spent with the people she met along her journey. She met her loving husband in Redlands, and they shared many years and happy memories together. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by: her husband Lionel Flores; And her two daughters, Stephanie Gault and Valerie Flores; Her grandchildren: Melissa, John Jr., and Emily Hardy; Her great granddaughter: Isabel Rodriguez; Her brothers: Hector and Robert Garcia; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A Rosary will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 at 6:00pm with a Service to follow on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at 9:45am at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
