We lost our father, son, friend and brother July 16. Max slipped quietly away in his sleep after a brief illness. Born and raised in Beverly Hills, a graduate of USC, he was an avid athlete, playing golf and tennis. He belonged to the building industry as well as insurance and damage estimating and adjusting. A renaissance man, Max explored enthusiastically many creative endeavors. Silver jewelry, hand stitched buckskins, unique pottery; he loved to make things and found great joy in giving them away. Max felt a deep and abiding loyalty to his friends and family. A caring supportive father, Sam, Madelyn and Makena will forever hold him in their hearts. He is survived by his children, mother Valeda, and siblings Jolie and Steven as well as nieces Carly and Lucy. His memory will be cherished and his loving kindness will be sorely missed.
