Mayra Sanahuja Mulder

Mayra Sanahuja Mulder, of Mentone, California, passed away June 6, 2013 in Redlands, California at the age of 58. Mayra was born on December 4, 1954 in San Jose, Costa Rica to Emilio Sanahuja y Etelvina Alvarado. She graduated from High School in 1972 - Colegio Maria Auxiliadora de Alajuela in Costa Rica. Later, she attended the University of Costa Rica and then Crafton Hills College in Redlands, where she studied Graphic Design and Photography. Mayra has been a resident of Mentone for 32 years. Mayra was preceded in death by her husband Charles Mulder, and she will be missed by her loving son Michael and Malia Thompson, her two big brothers: Alvaro and Oscar, and her four big sisters: Nurya, Marta, Sonia, and Marisol, her brother-in-law (and close friend) Richard Mulder, her many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, as well as her many friends. She loved gardening, painting, playing games, spending time with her family, and hanging out with friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 20, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Redlands Stake Center, located at 350 Wabash avenue, Redlands CA 92373. A short graveside service will be held at the Hillside Memorial in Redlands, located at 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands, CA 92373. After the burial a memorial luncheon will be held at the Terry home located at 1330 Mountain View Lane, Mentone, CA 92359.
