Michael Angelo Granados of Redlands, CA was born on April 6, 1964 in Fontana, CA to Ethel & Mike Granados. He passed away at the age 54 on December 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a mechanic for San Manuel Tribal Casino for several years and also work for the City of Redlands for many years.
Michael was loving husband, father, grandfather and was a die heart Dallas Cowboys fan. His passion was to coach the youth in football, riding dirt bikes and loved his music. Through football he would teach the disciplines, morals and life lessons a young man would need to grow up in todays world. The two phrases he was know for and you could hear him yelling it from across the football field were "Keep your mind right" and "Strong minds builds strong bodies". Michael was not only a great coach and father, he was a great teacher to all and had the biggest heart you could have imagined.
Michael's passion is his life as he grew older was being a great grandfather. His grandchildren always loved to lay with him and crawl all over him. They truly loved him and he would give the world for his three grandbabies as he would say.
Lastly Michael taught his two son's numerous life lessons, morals and teachings. He raised them to be strong young men, always to put God first, then your family, then yourself and of course school was next. His teachings will always be apart of his sons lives for he will live on through this teaching and morals he instilled in his sons. His sons have already started instilling them with there children. Michael is beloved husband, father, coach, teacher and grandfather and truly will be missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years Gracie, Sons: Sergio and Louis Granados. His father Mike Granados, two sisters: Lisa Garrett and Teresa Ruiz. Three grandchildren:
Leia, Penelope and Jax Granados, and as well numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Ethel Granados and sister Fatima Granados.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial service that will take place at 11:00 a.m. on December 22, 2018 at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel 703 Brookside Ave. Redlands, CA 92373
A celebration of life luncheon will follow after the services.
