Mildred R. Kamphefner

Mildred R. Kamphefner, 96, of Yucaipa, CA passed away at home Friday, July 23, 2010. She was a cherished friend to many and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She was a native of Norfolk, NE and moved to the Inland Empire in the early 40 s. She married Kenneth Nolte in 1947 and they were married until his death in 1975. They had one daughter together, Linda (Nolte) Wood of Yucaipa, CA along with Mildred s three children from a previous marriage, Sharon (Peters) Aitken of Virginia, Gary Peters of Hesperia, and Jeanette Peters (deceased). She married Vernon Kamphefner (deceased) in 1981. She will be remembered above all for being a loving mother and grandmother. Services will be at 12:00 Friday at Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
