Nina Giustiniani

Nina Giustiniani, age 82 of Yucaipa, passed away at her home in Yucaipa on January 21, 2010. She was born January 2, 1928 in Monte Video, Argentina. Nina was raised in Palermo, Sicily. She came to the U.S. as a war bride in 1945 and lived in New York for several years. She moved to Redlands, CA in 1954 to be close to her childhood friend Louisa, who she grew up with in Italy. She was a PTA President for Orangewood High School and was very proud that she was the one who worked hard on getting Cap and Gowns for the graduates to wear for the first time at Orangewood High. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Giustiniani Sr. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Bill and Jeannie Stayton of Yucaipa; son, Frank Giustiniani Jr. of Hawaii; daughter, Belinda Smith of Michigan; daughter, Angela Giustiniani of Yucaipa; and best friend, John Phillips of Redlands; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many family and friends in Italy, Argentina and New York. You are home now, MOM! You will be gratefully missed and very much loved. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2010 at 11:00am with a viewing two hours prior to services, from 9:00am to 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA; with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, CA. Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands, CA.
