Nora Belle Garrison 95, died at her home June 9, 2011. Born October 10, 1915, in Los Angeles to Eddy and Bertha Pruett, she was a resident of Yucaipa for 50 years. She was employed by Lawndale, High School serving teachers lunches for three years. She worked for Coffee Hoyte Co. in Gardena making Drizzle Boots for six years and for the Redlands School District for four years along with selling Avon for 10 years. She was a member of the Yucaipa Christian Church for 44 years. Nora and her husband loved traveling to almost all the states and spending time with their snowbird friends. She also enjoyed bowling and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter Earlene Anderson and her husband David of Calimesa; son Wesley Garrison Jr. and his wife Sharon of Arkansas; four grandchildren Dayline Miller, Christiana English, Anissa Volk and April Goodson and 11 great-grandchildren. She was pre- deceased by her husband of 67 years, Wesley Garrison, who died in August of 2010. A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Yucaipa Christian Church, 12954 Bryant Street. With a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. and luncheon and celebration of her life following the service.
