Norman Lee Smith was born on August 26, 1921 passed away on November 3, 2015 at his home in Calimesa, California. He had been ill and bedridden from diabetes, etc., for quite a while. He left behind his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Jean Smith and his daughter, Melva Jean Roach and her husband, Ralph of Calimesa, California. He leaves behind three grandchildren; granddaughter, Trena Burns and her husband, Jim of Yucaipa, California, grandson, Bob Roach and his wife Elizabeth of Yucaipa, California and his granddaughter, Bonnie Perez and her husband, Ken of San Bernardino, California. He also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren: Johanna, Robby, Craig & Camila Jean Roach and Billy, Jake, Mike & Chris Wills and 2 great- great- grandchildren, Johan Levi Roach and Vida Raquel Wood. He was a quite and very special man; putting in many good days work for a good days pay. He was a Godly man who was very thoughtful to everyone, especially all of his family. We all cherished and loved him and will miss him beyond words. Services were held on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015 at 11:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa, CA with burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Calimesa, CA.
