Paul A. Rigano, a longtime Redlands resident, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November
12, 2023. He was 88 years old.
Born in the Bronx in 1935, Paul married Beverly June Morris in 1955 in Washington State. He enlisted in
the Air force and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Paul worked as an Architect since the 1970s in Corona and Redlands. He designed several buildings in
the Inland Empire and most famously bought and restored the “Birthday Cake House” on the corner of
Brookside and San Mateo expanding his firm at that location. During the same period, Paul designed and
built his dream home at 1315 Garden Street.
Paul and Beverly had a love of traveling, whether it was a family trip to Italy or RV outings with the
Redlands Rovers. They were members of the Redlands Elks Lodge and enjoyed bowling. Paul was an avid
golfer and was proud to have two holes in one.
Paul is survived by Beverly Rigano, his loving wife of over 68 years, his son Michael Rigano, daughter-in-law Nicole Rigano, grandson Alex Rigano, niece Roberta Rigano, nephew William Morris, and niece,
Karen Alvarez.
