Paul Lynn Pletcher

Paul Lynn Pletcher, 70, a long-time resident of Yucaipa, died in a cycling accident in Beaumont on November 4, 2010. He was born September 1, 1940. He lost his life doing what he loved. He is survived by his wife, Linda, to whom he was married for 49 years. He is also survived by his sons, Brett and Kurt, daughters in-law, Jennifer and Sarah, and his grandchildren, Sean and Jacob. Lynn was born in Indiana and moved to California to take his first teaching job in 1963. He retired in 2002 after 39 years of educational service. Lynn devoted his life to service to his family, his students, his community and to his faith. He spent much of his free time enjoying the outdoors. The celebration of his life will begin on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, with a visitation at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA 92399 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Yucaipa Christian Church at 12954 Bryant Street, Yucaipa, CA followed by a reception.
