Peggie L. Mcgarry-Piazza-Crowell

Peggie, 75 surrouned by loved ones went to our Lord on June 10, 2010. Peggie was born, Peggie Lou McGarry on September 28, 1934 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She moved to California with her first Husband, John Piazza in 1955. She was a long time resident of Fontana, California and Port Orchard, Washington. She retired from the Fontana School District in 1991, where she worked in a variety of positions: teachers aide; teachers aide to the disabled; librarian assistant and secretary. She moved with her second husband, Winfred Crowell to Port Orchard, Washington. They were in several dog clubs and traveled to many places with their trailer and dogs in tow. Peggie was a talented artist who loved to draw, paint and sculpt. She loved to cook and was an excellent homemaker and loving mother and friend to all animals and people alike. She is survived by four daughters, Kathleen Prine, Deborah Cordua, Jeannette Piazza and Margaret Piazza; three granddaughters and one grandson; Jennifer McDonald and her husband Ron), Jessica Palazzolo (her husband Stefano), Aleise DaVault and Michael Cordua; four great grandchildren, Brent Strohl, Logan McDonald, Kristina Cordua, Olivia Palazzolo; one sister, Susan Mandershied (her husband, Dave), one brother, Larry McGarry (his wife, Carol), and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, John D. Piazza of Fontana; her second husband, Winfred D. Crowell of Port Orchard and her oldest sister, Patsy Strayer and her husband, Dave from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 18th, 2010 at 7:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA 92399.
