Peter Anthony Resendez, Jr.

On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Peter Anthony Resendez Jr, loving husband and father of four, passed away at the age of 48.
Peter was born July 4, 1971 in Redlands, CA to Peter Anthony Resendez Sr. and Patricia K. (Castillo) Resendez. He worked for I.E. Hyundai for 6 years and was self-employed as an auto detailer for 9years. He married Lori Moreno of San Pedro, CA on July 21, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. They raised one son, Robert and one daughter, Esmeralda.
Peter was preceded in death by his father in 2002 and his mother in 2016. He is survived by his wife Lori, three boys Vincent, Anthony, Robert and one girl, Esmeralda, one sister Marlene, one brother Bobby, two grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Peter was passionate about spending time with his family taking them to the beach, movies, softball, baseball and football games, and coaching Esmeraldas softball teams with his wife. He was a big kid at heart and a "Joker". You could always tell when he was around with his quick wit, laugh and infectious smile.
Peter was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching ESPN and all sports whether in person or on television. His favorite teams are the Lakers, Raiders and Yankees. In fact, he would often go to Community Field in Redlands to watch softball and baseball and football at nearby high schools. Peter also had a love for music. He could tell you the name of a song just by the music introduction. He knew every verse and could sing along with it.
Viewing and services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Emmerson and Bartlett at 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA.
