Quentin E. Martin was a resident of Redlads, CA for the past 22 years ann formerly a resident of Manhattan Beach, Ca the previous 35 years. He passed away on June 22, 2011 in the Veterens Hospital in Loma Linda from Alzheimers-dementia. He joined the Army Air Force from 1943 to 1945 stationed in England serving as the radio operator in a B-24, flying 35 missions before discharge. He was employed in the Aerospace Industry for 33 years, before retiring in 1986 serving as the safety Engineer with the Space Shuttle Program,in Downey, CA. He and his wife Wanda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on May 16, 2011. His favorite hobby was golf and customizing his own clubs and those of his friends. He was the loving father of step-son Gregory Turner, his wife Mindy, grandchildren Bryan, Michelle, Brittany and Annessa, and great-grandfather to John ad Jordyn Turner of Yucaipa, Ca. He leaves one sister, Doris Mize of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marty will be remembered as a man of faith, a kind, generous and loving soul, beloved by his wife, family and friends. Memorial services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery.
