In Loving Memory of Raymond Adrian Vildosola
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Raymond Adrian Vildosola. Surrounded by loved ones and holding the hands of his Grandmother Frances and Aunt Sandra, Raymond passed away on March 17, 2025, one day after his 33rd birthday. Raymond fought a courageous battle with liver disease. Though he ultimately succumbed to the illness, we take comfort in knowing that Raymond is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Raymond was born in Redlands, California, on March 16, 1992. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Simona Vildosola, and his grandfather, Maximino Vildosola. He is survived by his grandmother, Frances Inez Vildosola, who raised him and was like a mother to him; his three brothers, Anthony Cabral, Ruben Cabral, and Ian Murry; and his two sisters, Christina Vildosola and Darlene Ruiz.
Raymond grew up in both Redlands and Colton. He was a happy child, full of curiosity and energy, often driving his grandma crazy. He spent much of his time with his cousins, who were like siblings to him: Hope, Mercedez, Darline, Michelle, Matthew, and Irene. Raymond cherished his time with his nephews and nieces, creating memories through Snapchat and taking countless photos. All the children miss their "Uncle Ray" deeply and will carry these precious memories in their hearts throughout their lives, ensuring that future generations will know the special uncle they were blessed to have.
Raymond leaves a huge void in the hearts of his family and friends. He brought life to those around him through his kindness, humor, and selfless love. In his final weeks, Raymond made lasting memories with the people he touched. He was deeply involved with the doctors, nurses, and support groups at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he shared his journey toward a liver transplant and advocated for sobriety. Raymond's willingness to open up and help others, despite his own struggles, was a true testament to his character.
Throughout his illness, Raymond grew closer to God, reading his Bible and highlighting passages that spoke to his heart. One of his favorite scriptures was from Psalm 25, and we share it here in the hope it brings you peace, as it did for Raymond and continues to bring comfort to us:
Psalm 25 :O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord.
Raymond was baptized as a child and later requested to be baptized again as an adult in the hospital, a moment we consider a double blessing. He would always smile at that, his bright, adoring smile.
Raymond’s passing on March 17th fulfilled the promise Jesus made to those who believe in Him: John 14:2-3“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go-to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
We love you, Raymond. Until we are together again, we will forever hold you in our hearts.
