Reynaldo ávila Biografía
Reynaldo, quien fuera hijo de Fidel ávila y Guadalupe Mora, nació en un pueblo rural llamado Huaricho, en el estado de Michoacán, México. él fue el cuarto de 9 hijos.
Se casó con su esposa Piedad en 1956. Después de muchos años trabajando arduamente en el campo y vendiendo camotes enmielados con leche en Catalinas, Michoacán, emigraron a California en 1973 en busca de una vida mejor. Con su esposa Piedad, formaron una familia de siete hijos. Evangelina (Eva), Guillermina (Mina), Noel, Alonso (Al), Rodrigo (Rodd), Uriel y Quintilia (Lia).
Aunque nació con miopía, Reynaldo no permitió que su condición lo limitara. Viajaba hacia su trabajo desde Monterey Park hasta West Hollywood, tomando 3 autobuses en cada dirección, los 7 días de la semana durante años. Su orgullo y alegría era mantener su hermoso jardín verde y cultivar sus propias frutas y vegetales.
Reynaldo poseía numerosas y grandes virtudes que se esforzaba por enseñar a todos los que lo rodeaban. Era un hombre de paciencia, compromiso, honestidad y sabiduría. él tenía su manera única y especial de expresar su amor hacia su esposa y familia. él era un hombre de pocas palabras.
Su mayor legado es su familia. Su esposa fue como una roca para él durante 62 años. Para sus hijos, él era nuestro Papi Rey, un gran hombre. Su memoria vivirá a través de los ojos de sus 11 nietos y 5 bisnietos.
Aunque los últimos años lo frenaron un poco, su determinación lo mantuvo en marcha. Se enfrentó a la última parte de su viaje por la vida con gran dignidad.
Dar testimonio del amor y apoyo que compartieron Papi Rey y Mama Lita fue verdaderamente una bendición y un regalo increíble para todos nosotros.
Papi, nuestras vidas nunca serán lo mismo sin ti. Estamos muy agradecidos por el tiempo que compartimos contigo. Aunque lloramos tu partida, nos aferramos a los recuerdos preciosos que nos has dejado. ¡El cielo celebra tu llegada!

Reynaldo ávila Bio
Reynaldo, son of Fidel ávila and Guadalupe Mora, was born in a rural town of Huaricho, Michoacán, México. He was the 4th son of 9 children.
He married his wife Piedad in 1956. After many years of toiling the fields and selling yams & milk in Catalinas, Michoacán, they immigrated to California in 1973 in search of a better life. With Piedad, they formed a raised a family of seven children.  Evangelina (Eva), Guilermina (Mina), Noel, Alonso (Al), Rodrigo (Rodd), Uriel & Quintilia (Lia).
Born with myopia, he did not allow it to limit him. He commuted from Monterey Park to West Hollywood and took 3 buses each way 7 days a week for years.  His pride and joy was maintaining his beautiful green garden and cultivating many of his own fruits and vegetables.  
He possessed many great virtues that he strived to teach all those around him. He was a man of Patience, Commitment, Honesty, and Wisdom. He had his own unique way of expressing his love for his wife and family. He was a man of few words.
His greatest legacy is his family.  His wife of 62 years was his rock. To his children, he was our Papi Rey, a great man.  His memory will live on through the eyes of his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Although the last few years slowed him down, his determination kept him going.  He met the last part of his journey with great dignity.
To witness the love and support that our Papi Rey and Mama Lita shared was truly a blessing and an amazing gift to all of us.
Papi, our lives will never be the same without you. We are very grateful for the time we shared with you. Though we mourn your passing, we cling to the precious memories you have left us with. Heaven celebrates your homecoming!
