Richard James Delameter

July 20, 1928 — December 24, 2009

Richard passed away at the age of 81, on December 24, 2009,in Loma Linda, California. He was born July 20, 1928 in Pueblo, Colorado. He served his country during the Korean Conflict with Colton's Company B, 224th Infantry, 40th Division, California National Guard as a Tech Sergeant in the Weapons Platoon. In 1974 Richard received recognition from the American College of Life Underwriters (ACLU). He retired in 1980 from Pension Plan World. Richard lived in East Highlands, California the last 27 years. He is survived by his daughter Gail Moore, Son Glen Alan Delameter, and his two brothers, Charles Delamater and Thomas Delameter. He leaves three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jennifer, and Douglas Moore. He will greatly missed. Richard will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery, Stating Area #5, on Friday, Januray 8, 2010 at 1:01pm. A Memorial Sevice celebrating his life wil be held at 3:00pm January 8, 2010 at Faith Bible Church, 2898 North G Street, San Bernardino. Pastor John Frederick will be officiating. Family under the care of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands, CA.
