Rita Alice Saldana, of Redlands, beloved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt, passed away November 4, 2015 peacefully at home with her loving family at her bedside. Rita was born on January 2, 1948 in San Bernardino. She graduated from Colton High School and was raised in Colton. Rita was a strong, loving, kind, generous woman with a heart of gold; often putting the needs of others before her own. She was an amazing cook. She enjoyed crocheting, going to yard sales with her husband, and watching novelas. She was an extraordinary wife, mother and grandma and was deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving husband Tony of 40 years, son Frankie, daughters Annette Venegas-Martinez and son-in-law Eddie, and Priscilla Castillo and son-in law Raul; grandchildren Patricia, Cerina, Cassandra, Toni, Adriana, Merena, Monique, Sody, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren Albert, Victor, Richard, Haley, Noah, Alissa, Daisy, Vincent, and Rafael; sisters Sarah, Mona, Liz, Vera, Bertha and Terry; brothers Peter, Tony, Frankie and Rudy. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at 6:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 13th, 2015 at 10:00am at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California
