Beloved Pop Robert A. Mujica Sr., entered into the hands of the lord on Nov. 4, 2009 of age of 66. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his family who he held close to his heart. He resided in Redlands for the past 20 years, prior to that he lived in Highland for 46 years. Robert is preceded in death by his loving parents Joseph & Consuelo Mujica. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Montes, loving son-in-law Carlos of Highland and his son Robert A. Mujica Jr., fiancee Margina Hoover of Las Vegas. In addition is survived by his three granddaughters Rebecca Montes, Sasha and Savannah Mujica. Also survived by his only brother Joseph Mujica and sister-in-law Margaret of East Highland. Robert graduated from Redlands High School in 1960 and San Bernardino Valley College. He also served in Navy from 1961 - 1965 during Vietnam War on the USS Oriskany as a Radar Specialist. Robert retired after 43 years from AT&T as a Communications Technician. Robert also known as "POP" to his daughter, son, and his three granddaughters, as a hard working family man who would always be willing to help and give great advice whenever asked and would never think twice. "POP" was a loyal USC Football fan. A viewing will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 4-8pm with Rosary at 6:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands. Funeral Service on Thursday, November 12, 2009 with Mass at 9:00am at St. Adelaide's Catholic Church, 27457 Baseline St., Highland with burial immediately followiny at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands.
