Robert D. Laur

Robert D. Laur, resident of Yucaipa, CA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 18, 2009, at the age of 80. Robert was born on February 19, 1929, in Lapeer, MI. He served in the US Air Force and retured from civil service in 1990 while with the Defense Audio Visual Agency, Norton Air Force Base. He was a member of the Cloverleaf Square Dance Club and an avid Bingo player. Robert is survived by Patricia (nee Luman), his wife of 55 years; his children Michael, Diana (Nick De Vince) and James (Peter Kongkasem); and his grandchildren Christopher A De Vince and Misty Dawn Laur. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA followed by interment at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Highland Senior Center, 3102 E Highland Ave, Highland, CA 92346.
