Robert Lyle (Bob) Dally

Mr. Robert (Bob) Lyle Dally passed away at Plymouth Village on November 4, 2016 at the age of 90. Bob is predeceased by his parents, Mr. Emsely Dally and Mrs. Ethel Grace Crouch-Dally, sisters Bernice Thompson and Louise Dally. Bob is survived by brother, Carl Dally, Austin, Texas. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Marie Brandl-Dally of 65 years. They were married in Chicago, IL on August 25, 1951. Bob is lovingly remembered by his children, Robert (Erin) Dally, Jr., of Redlands, CA, Paul (Lisa) Dally of Vancouver, WA, and Cathryn (Robert) Phipps of Pinckney, MI. Grandchildren, David (Monee) Phipps, Caren Phipps, Kimberly Dally, Robert Dally III, Laura Dally, John Paul Dally and Matthew Dally. Bob was born in Merino, Colorado January 31, 1926. He graduated from high school in 1944, went on to earn a B.A. from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in 1958. He began the practice of law in June 1959 and retired in 1996. Bob enjoyed golf all his life and traveled extensively before and after his retirement. The funeral service will be held at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373 on 11/14/16, 10:00am with Chaplin Michael Ballinger officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Rd., Redlands, CA 92373 at 11:30. A reception will take place at 1323 San Pablo Ave., Redlands, CA 92373 on 11/14/16 at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: the American Heart Association (heart.org), and the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (alzfdn.org).
